Butchering Chickens

Andrew and I butchered 6 chickens at the beginning of the month. We had quite a process down for it---Andrew would kill the birds, I would dip them in hot water and start taking the feathers off, Andrew would pull the organs out and spot check it, and TA-DA! Chickens were ready to be bagged and froze.

Tonight we are having chicken for supper. I put one in the crock pot while Andrew was at work...hopefully in a couple of hours, it's ready to eat!
