On Wednesday we took a few cull cows to the sale barn in Lemmon, always fun to go to town as long as it isn't too often.
The cows were very willing to get into the trailor thankfully.
There weren't too many people at the sale that day or not yet when we were there early. But it was enjoyable to see other cattle and people.
We ate breakfast at the cafe that is in the sale barn, very good hearty food.
We also couldn't help but to pick up a free puppy that was one of five that someone had brought to find good ranch homes for. He is a border collie like the others we have had in the past. The are very good cow dogs and can make herding cattle much easier, also they are very good friends to have.
Sox sleeps a lot, as long as he knows that he is by me or someone, but he is getting better at night, not being afraid of being by himself on the porch.
After lunch that day, we had the vet come out to test the bulls to see if they would be able to impregnate cows. All seven turned out good.
After that we were busy too, but i can't remember what all we did, and it is hard sometimes to take pictures when you are busy working. But Rebecca does do a good job with the camera so we can look back on them in the years to come and have real good memories.
